Associate of Applied Science in Telecommunications, Radio

Objective:

The program is a two-year curriculum emphasizing skills and knowledge essential for employment in Radio production and on-air personality. The degree includes training in speech, voice and diction, newscasting, marketing, all of which use a variety of equipment to provide hands-on expertise.

General degree requirement:

Students entering the program need a high school diploma or an equivalent certificate, such as the GED. Placement of participants in the various levels of the program, including advanced placement, will be determined by the ACT scores and examinations administered by BPCC.
