Associate of Applied Science in Telecommunications, Television Production

Objective:

The program is a two-year curriculum emphasizing skills and knowledge essential for employment in the area of television production. The degree includes training in the areas of field productions, camera operation, editing, and audio production. A variety of equipment is used to provide hands-on expertise.

General degree requirement:

Students entering the program need a high school diploma or an equivalent certificate, such as the GED. Placement of participants in the various levels of the program, including advanced placement, will be determined by the ACT scores and examinations administered by BPCC.
