Bossier Parish Community College is in compliance with this comprehensive standard because the relationship between the College and institution-related foundation and the liability of that relationship is accurately described. The foundation is the BPCC Foundation, Inc. The College's agreement with the foundation, as described below, ensures that its relationship is consistent with the College's mission.

The BPCC Foundation, Inc., was founded in 1997 through the College Foundation Articles of Incorporation for the purpose and mission of engaging in educational, scientific, literary, benevolent, and charitable work exclusively for BPCC, which is a political subdivision and component unit of the State of Louisiana. The Foundation's activities include, but are not limited to, providing educational and financial aid and resources to students, faculty, and staff; engaging in fund raising activities; promoting educational and cultural welfare of the College; broadening educational advantages and opportunity and increasing the College's usefulness to the citizens of Louisiana and the United States of America. The Foundation is managed by the college's Director of Alumni and Development and the Foundation Board Members.
