Bossier Parish Community College is in compliance with this comprehensive standard because the College
defines and publishes policies regarding appointment and employment of faculty and staff. The College Human Resources Employee Handbook states the Employment Procedures according to the Louisiana Community and Technical College System policies. This document is available in the Office
of Human Resources and online. Faculty and staff are informed of policy changes through e-mail announcements and through updated manuals.
Evidence that employment practices are consistent with these policies may be found on a case-by-case basis in the
position files in the Human Resources Office.
The Louisiana Community and Technical College System Board of Supervisors (LCTCS) directs the policies and
procedures regarding the appointment of faculty and staff at BPCC via the
