Objective:

To provide students with training for entry level positions in emergency health care.

Specific Requirements:

Students pursuing a technical competency certification as EMT: Basic must first meet College admission requirements. Students must show competency in reading as documented by ACT, placement test or completion of the READ 099 course. The EMT: Basic program includes didactic, laboratory, and field course. Students entering the program must meet additional requirements outlined by the Bureau of EMS.
