The art courses offered at BPCC include art historical surveys and both two and three-dimensional studio courses. The training by Art Department faculty incorporates knowledge and experience in traditional and contemporary works of art. Courses are offered on campus and via online instruction. A variety of visual platforms and new technology is incorporated into the classroom environment so that students can access up-to-the-minute developments within the field. When possible, field trips are made to expand on classroom learning in a way that makes a connection to the local arts community.

Savoir Faire, a bi-annual literary and visual arts publication of student works presents a unique opportunity for art students to showcase their work.
