Qualifying Certifications to Participate in Department of Defense Projects
The mission of the DoD Directive 8570 is to create standards and guidance to result in a professional, sustained information assurance workforce with the knowledge and skills to effectively present and respond to attacks against DoD information, systems, and information infrastructures. Directive 8570 requires certification of all members of the DoD Information Assurance workforce, including military personnel, civilians, contractors, and others performing IA functions.
