BPCC at Grambling

Grambling State University and Bossier Parish Community College have partnered to offer freshman-level courses on the Grambling State University campus in Grambling, Louisiana.  Any first-time freshman who does not meet the GSU admissions criteria will be referred to BPCC at GSU located in Brown Hall, Room 108. Referred students will need certain required documents including an official high school transcript and an immunization record.  Males ages 18-25 will need to provide proof of selective service registration. 

Students enrolled in BPCC at GSU will have the opportunity to engage in a multitude of college activities.  Grambling State UniversityStudents will have access to apply for financial aid, counseling, and health services.  All BPCC at GSU students will pay Grambling fees which enable the students to utilize GSU facilities, to park on campus, and to enjoy athletic and cultural events by showing their GSU ID cards. All BPCC at GSU courses will be taught at the GSU campus.

After completion of twelve (12) to eighteen (18) hours of developmental/core courses with at least a 2.000 GPA (excluding developmental grades), the student will then transition into Grambling State University.

Options

  • Continue their education through GSU as transfer students;
  • Continue their education at BPCC in Bossier City; or
  • Continue their education at any community college or 4-year institution of their choice.
