Vita: Kimberly Pullen
Kimberly Pullen is a Reference and Instruction Librarian for Bossier Parish Community College. A graduate of Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge she has earned her Master in Library and Information Science.
Mrs. Pullen has worked at Bossier Parish Community College since 2003. Before employment at BPCC; she was employed by Shreve Memorial Library in the Technology Resource Center, in Reference and as a supervisor at the Broadmoor Branch Library, and as Branch Manager of the Extension and Bookmobile Center Library.
Mrs. Pullen is active in professional organizations. She is a member of the Louisiana Library Association and has served on the Louisiana Support Staff of Libraries (LaSSAL), Board of Directors. She attends professional events such as the Louisiana Library Network (LOUIS) conference.
Mrs. Pullen currently serves on the Faculty Senate, Faculty Senate Executive Council, Planning Council, Planning Council Resources sub committee, and Student Technology Fee Committee, , SACS Reaffirmation Committee, and as secretary of SAC’s Faculty Evaluation Committee.
During her career Mrs. Pullen has applied for and received several Student Technology Fee grants and has applied for a Board of Regents grant.
