Fall 2009 Advance Registration on CAVS

Who can register in advance?

  • Students currently enrolled spring 2009 semester who have met all admissions criteria.
  • Students who are not indebted to the College as of April 13, 2009.
  • Students who do not have registration holds from the previous semester, as of April 13, 2009.

Process for Advance Registration:

Set up appointment and meet with advisor- April 13 – 24, 2009

  • Advisor name is listed on CAVS.
  • All students are strongly encouraged to see an advisor before registering for classes.
  • Graduating Students: Advising is required for students who will be graduating during the registration term.

Disclaimer: Students who elect to schedule classes without advisor input assume responsibility for ensuring classes scheduled will count toward their degree program.

Advance Registration Dates:

April 13 – July 6, 2009

  • April 13, 2009 – July 6, 2009
    Students can pay online by accessing CAVS. Account balances for fall tuition and fees will be calculated beginning July 6, 2009. Students registering for classes from April 13, 2009 through July 6, 2009 must return to their fall 2009 account summary to make payment during the week of July 6, 2009 through July 10, 2009. Failure to make payment during this time will result in student removal from all classes.
  • July 6, 2009 – August 26, 2009
    Students can register and pay on-line by accessing CAVS. All students registering must make payment of the current due balance within 72 hours of registering for classes. Payment options are making payment in full or selecting the payment plan for payment. Failure to make payment within 72 hours of registering for classes will result in student removal from all classes. Students receiving financial aid that have a current due balance must go to the Financial Aid Office within 24 hours of registering.
