Business Affairs and Economic Development is the training arm of Bossier Parish Community College. The vision of Economic Development is to become the leader in workforce development and business improvement services as they relate to the citizens of Northwest Louisiana. Focusing on customer needs, Economic Development assists individuals and organizations in improving performance through assessment, training, mentoring, and job coaching.
Specific services offered include customized assessment and training for businesses, standardized and industry-based testing services, career training, and train-the-trainer services. Types of programs available are leadership and organizational development, continuous quality improvement, job analysis and employee profiling, customer service training, basic work skills, computer software training, foreign language training and assessment, as well as technical training. These services may be accessed onsite or online.
