Mission of the Division of Business and Computer Science:

     The mission of the Division of Business and Computer Science is to provide quality instruction and community service to Northwest Louisiana citizens. The Division of Business and Computer Science encompasses the following disciplines: accounting, business administration, computer information systems, culinary arts, economics, legal secretary, management, marketing, and web design. The primary emphasis of this division is to enable students to develop their academic and vocational skills to compete in a technological society.

Objectives of the Division of Business and Computer Science:

• To offer associate degree programs in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, and Web Development and Design that will prepare graduates for jobs in these professional areas.
• To prepare students to make informed career path decisions and to develop workplace skills necessary to succeed.
• To provide students the opportunity to earn academic college credits for transfer to four-year institutions of higher education.
• To allow students to develop computer and technology skills in order to compete in a dynamic and technological society.
