Bossier Parish Community College is participating in a partnership with The Louisiana Board of Regents, the Southern Regional Education Board, CERT, and Northwestern State University known as CALL (Continuum for All Louisiana Learners). CALL is the first installment in the Louisiana’s Education . . . Go for More Campaign sponsored by The Louisiana Board of Regents.

CALL institutions will use 3 strategies to accomplish this goal:

• Market Research
• Program Development
• Adult Learning Campaign

BPCC has developed two fast-track, accelerated Associate degree programs through this partnership. Additionally, BPCC has established and enhanced other mechanisms to assist adults with decreasing the time to degree completion including becoming a testing site for CLEP and DSST, offering the option to gain portfolio credit for certain courses, creating more accessible information on available departmental challenge exams for courses, and providing academic advising for adults to determine how to best use transfer credits. BPCC is accepting applications now for the first enrollment of students into the fast-track program with classes beginning in the Fall 2007.

This site is designed to keep members of the BPCC administration, faculty and staff apprised of developments and project timelines as this initiative progresses through the spring and summer semesters.
