November 2006 Chancellor Tom Carleton selects Business Administration and Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Software Applications as the BPCC degrees for fast-track design.
  Bill Martin and Gary Hollatz begin plans to expand BPCC's bandwidth from 3 mpbs to 45 mpbs.
January 2007 Contract received from Board of Regents to begin development of fast-track programs and student services.
  Paul Weaver accepted opportunity as program coordinator for Fast-Track CIS and Pat Wyatt accepted opportunity as program coordinator for Fast-Track Business Administration.
  CALL website launched at www.bpcc.edu/call to chronicle the BPCC Project.

January 31, 2007 Accelerated Program Workshop with Dr. Ray Wlodkowski  hosted at BPCC with BPCC, CERT, NSU, SREB, and Board of Regents representatives participating. 
February 1, 2007 CALL added as an option in the online student information request form in CAVS.

Prior Learning Assessment 101 Workshop hosted at NSU.

February 14, 2007 ACT Center begins pursuing certification of ACT Center as an official CLEP testing site.
February 21. 2007 Mr. Carleton adopts the 4-week fast-track format and 100% online delivery of courses in both fast-track Associate degree programs. Sections of classes offered in the fast-track program will be limited to 20 students per section. 
  Presentation made to BPCC Foundation to request $4,000 in scholarship funds for CALL students.
February 22 – 23, 2007 CAEL Prior Learning Assessment Faculty Assessor Training at BPCC with CAEL Trainer Jerry Hickerson.
March 2, 2007 CALL Marketing Committee Meeting at Board of Regents.
March 6, 2007 BPCC Bookstore agrees to partner with BPCC CALL project to add e-commerce option to the business software management system in the BPCC Bookstore. This option will allow fast-track students to order books online from BPCC beginning in Fall 2007.
March 14, 2007 Fast-Track Faculty Resource Page added to BPCC CALL website.
  Chris Rondeau accepts the opportunity to work with fast-track faculty course designers to coach/mentor them to meet the Quality Matters standards for all fast-track online courses.
  Kathleen Gay and the staff in Electronic Learning provide course shells in Blackboard for each course being designed for fast-track, online delivery. Electronic Learning staff members continue to support all CALL efforts.
March 15, 2007 BPCC Fast-Track Faculty Course Design Workshop Hosted. Course design in the fast-track degree programs officially begins.
March 16, 2007 Dr. Stan Wilkins submits Division of Business and Computer Science request to the LCTCS for approval at the April board meeting for BPCC to offer the Business Administration degree online. Computer Information Systems was previously approved.
March 19, 2007 Division Chairs meet to discuss Campus-Wide Prior Learning Assessment Course Matrix.
March 21, 2007 BPCC Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Policy Committee Meeting with CAEL Consultant Judy Wertheim creates framework for PLA Policy at BPCC. Carolyn Burroughs, Luke Dowden, Holly French, Paul Weaver, Stan Wilkins, and Pat Wyatt participate.
March 22, 2007 Community Education agrees to consider adding the Portfolio Course as part of the Community Education offerings. Peggy Fuller is designing the portfolio course.
March 23, 2007 BPCC-NSU Prior Learning Assessment Policy Exchange at Northwestern. Luke Dowden, John Hoffmann, and Paul Weaver represent BPCC. A common framework for Prior Learning Assessment is drafted for further consideration by each institution.
March 29, 2007 BPCC PLA Policy Committee establishes BPCC Policy Statement and Definition for Prior Learning Assessment.

April 26-27, 2007 LCTCS System President, BPCC, and NSU visit to Regis University in Denver, CO to preview their fast-track degree program options.
May 2, 2007 Report from WCET on the audit of BPCC's online student services presented to BPCC Online Student Services vision team. Vision team will make formal recommendations on investments needed to enhance online student services.
May 10, 2007 Final evaluation of CALL online course designs using the Quality Matters rubric begins.
May 11, 2007 Presentation by Luke Dowden and Kathleen Gay to SELECT grant award winners about WCET online student services audit project.

May 16, 2007 1st BPCC Prior Learning Assessment Matrix compiled for prospective students to understand all the methods a student can attain college credit at BPCC through CLEP, DSST, Challenge Exams, and Portfolio Assessment.
May 24, 2007 CALL Statewide Steering Committee presents update to the Louisiana Board of Regents at monthly meeting.
June 2007 BPCC ACT Center pursues approval to offer DSST (formerly DANTES) nationally standardized exams.
June 4, 2007 17 potential adjunct faculty members receive orientation on the CALL "fast-track" course design and delivery model from Kim Harvell, Paul Weaver, Peggy Fuller, and Luke Dowden.

June 27, 2007 BPCC agreement with iWebfolio is finalized with receipt of log in information to set up system for use in the student electronic portfolio submission and assessment process. This process will be piloted along with the portfolio course in fall 2007.
July 12, 2007 BPCC signs Memorandum of Understanding with Learning Force for a joint endeavor to collaboratively enhance and use the Adviselink software to manage enrollment for the CALL program.

March, 2008 BPCC Student Technology Fee Committee funds 600 hours of online tutoring through Smartthinking.com ensuring a needed online student service for fast-track learners.
