Learn About Student Experiences in CALL Courses

This summer, BPCC piloted 2 courses that will be taught in both CALL fast-track degree programs.  In one class, 6 of 7 students earned an A with one student dropping out of the course.  In the other course, 83% of students enrolled earned a passing grade with 5 As, 3 Bs, and 2 Cs.  Two students earned failing grades because each did not complete the course assignments.

Christy Moore, a BPCC student in one of the pilot CALL courses, shares her experience:

I am happy to say I have just completed my first course from the Fast Track CALL program.  Honestly, I did not know what to expect in the beginning and questioned if I would be able to even complete the course.  Although the work load in a four week class is intense, it is doable.  But as with any online class, a student must be motivated and disciplined to stay on schedule to successfully complete the work on time.  Now that I have had a taste of CALL, I look forward to completing the remainder of my curriculum.
