In the Technical Competency Area in Computer Drafting and Design, students study drafting and use computer-based systems to produce or revise technical drawings needed in the design and development of machines, products, buildings, manufacturing processes, and other work. The student will have a broad understanding of engineering graphics, print reading and sketching, computer drafting fundamentals, and advanced computer drafting applications.
