Technical Competency Area in Computer Drafting and Design

In the Technical Competency Area in Computer Drafting and Design, students study drafting and use computer-based systems to produce or revise technical drawings needed in the design and development of machines, products, buildings, manufacturing processes, and other work. The student will have a broad understanding of engineering graphics, print reading and sketching, computer drafting fundamentals, and advanced computer drafting applications.

Students wishing to earn an associate degree in the field of Computer Drafting and Design can major in the Associate of General Studies with the following computer drafting and design electives:

TEED 144: Intermediate Computer Drafting 3
