Manufacturing Technology (MFG)

Manufacturing Organizational Principles. (2-2-0)
This course covers the following organizational principles: introduction to the CMS program, introduction to the manufacturing processes, learning for success, introduction to business principles, general plant safety, positive work ethics, and diversity.
Manufacturing Workforce Skills. (2-2-0)
This course covers the following workforce skills: the art of effective communication, working together, managing change, self management and personal wellness, positive image, and interview skills.
Manufacturing Production Requirements. (1-1-0)
This course covers the following production requirements: world class manufacturing, statistical process control, and problem solving.
Automated Manufacturing Skills. (3-3-0)
This course covers the following automated manufacturing skills: mechanical fundamentals, hand tools, power tools, fasteners, bearings, seals, lubrication, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical fundamentals, introduction to computers, and introduction to automation.
Representative Manufacturing Skills. (4-4-0)
This course covers the following manufacturing skills: fractions, metric measuring system, ratio and proportion, calculators, blueprint reading, steel rule, micrometers, and manufacturing simulations.
