Military Science (MILS)

101:
Introduction to Leadership (3-3-0)
Examines the unique duties and responsibilities of military officers. Includes an introduction to the organization roles of the Army in American society. Students discuss basic leadership traits and skills such as interpersonal communication and team building. Students also analyze Army values and ethical leadership.
102:
Introduction to Leadership II (3-3-0)
Presents fundamental leadership concepts and doctrine. Students learn effective problem-solving skills and apply active listening and feedback skills. Students also examine factors that influence leader and group effectiveness.
