Bossier Parish Community College recruits from over fifty schools in the area. All schools receive information packets about the College throughout the year. Our goal is to recruit prospective students area wide through high school visits, career and college fairs, campus tours, and involvement within the community. Contact with prospective students is maintained throughout the year through written correspondence as well as personal phone calls.
The Recruiting Office is active in the recruitment of new students, and the creation of New Student Orientation/Registration. The Recruiting Office is responsible for recruiting new students throughout the community by providing outreach to area high schools, businesses, malls, churches, etc. If you would like to schedule a campus tour, request an information packet or need any other information, please contact the Recruiting Office at 318-678-6033.

Career Services assists students throughout their college career at BPCC. The student-centered environment offers services to currently enrolled BPCC students free of charge. Students may call 318-678-6005 to schedule an appointment for the following services:

Students experience a positive atmosphere in which to explore career and employment options. The office of Career Services seeks to empower students with the skills needed to excel at a four-year university or in entering the job market. Academic Advisors/Career Counselors assist students in developing career decision-making skills and in acquiring information about careers. Students are encouraged to meet with an advisor to discuss career exploration and academic programs.
Current students and alumni are assisted in locating employment which is compatible with their job needs and educational objectives. Job opportunities include full-time, part-time, and temporary employment for both on and off campus. The use of electronic applications for students and employers and OPTIMAL RESUME enables Career Services to be of greater assistance in the registration and employment process for students, alumni, and employers. On campus job interviews with prospective employees are held throughout the year in addition to the annual Career Fairs held each fall and spring. The office provides resume and cover letter writing and interview skills workshops. The office of Disability Services coordinates campus-wide efforts to provide services and accommodations for students with disabilities. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the office ensures that eligible students receive proper classroom modification and serves as a liaison between faculty and students.
