- Introduction to MIS. (3-3-0)
An introduction to the fundamentals underlying the design, implementation, control, evaluation, and strategic use of modern, computer-based information systems for business data processing, office automation, information reporting, and decision making.
- 120:
- Survey of E-commerce. (3-3-0)
An introduction to fundamental business concepts as they apply to the world of e-commerce. Personal applications such as banking, retail purchasing, and consumer education as well as business applications such as Internet marketing, advertising, and security are introduced and discussed. The students will also learn to build and evaluate commercial websites.
- 205:
- Case Studies in MIS. (3-3-0)
Prerequisite: MIS 105 and CIS 115.
The application of real-world examples and case studies from enterprises serving global markets using information technologies in a managerial environment.
