Course Descriptions

Zoology (ZLGY)

201:

General Zoology. (3-3-0)
Prerequisites: BLGY 101.
Topics include basic concepts of general zoology including the origin of animal life, animal reproduction and development, classification of major phyla of animals and the major classes of vertebrates,  structure and function of animals, and basic concepts of animal behavior and ecology.

201L:

General Zoology Laboratory. (1-0-3)
Prerequisite: Registration in or credit for ZLGY 201 or its equivalent.
Laboratory and field exercises to reinforce lecture. Withdrawal from lecture mandates withdrawal from laboratory.
