Changing Your Windows Password

Log onto your computer

If you prompted to change your password, click here.
If you are not prompted to change your password, but wish to change it:

- Hold down the Ctrl, Alt, and Delete keys simultaneously.
- Click “Change Password” in the dialog box.

- Type your network username in the User name box.
Enter your current password in the Old Password box.
Enter your new password in both the New Password and Confirm New Password boxes then click “OK”.

- You will see a dialog box confirming that your password has been changed. Click “OK” to complete the process.

If you are unfamiliar with the procedure, it is recommended that you print out this guide and keep it out your desk before you need it.
- Click “OK” in the Login Message dialog box.

- Type your network username in the User name box.
Enter your current password in the Old Password box.
Enter your new password in both the New Password and Confirm New Password boxes then click “OK”.

- You will see a dialog box confirming that your password has been changed. Click “OK” to continue logging in.
