Criminal Justice

BPCC offers the Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice degree with elective courses of study in the following areas:

  • law enforcement,
  • corrections, and
  • a concentration in medicolegal death investigation.

Graduates receive a total of 60 hours of college credit for completion of coursework required for the degree. Criminal Justice courses taken at BPCC may count toward a baccalaureate degree at colleges and universities electing to accept the transferred course(s).

Bossier Parish Community College is one of three community colleges in the United States offering the Medicolegal Death Investigation class and concentration.
