Office 365 Education

Download and install Office using Office 365 for business on your PC

Faculty/Staff - Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus

Through BPCCs Microsoft Office 365 subscription, faculty, staff, and students can download 10 copies of the latest version of Microsoft Office currently Office 2013 for Windows, Office 2011 for Mac (OS X 10.8, 10.9) and Office 2016 for Mac (OS X 10.10+) on computers that you personally use.

Office 365 ProPlus license also includes OneDrive for Business, an online file storage service, with 1Tb of storage space, and access to online versions of the Office applications.

WARNING: Before starting be sure you can log into your BPCC email account.

Getting Started

Enter your BPCC email address (you@student.bpcc.edu) and then click Sign up

Open a new web browser to student/bpcc.edu/webmailWill open new browser window or taband log in to your email account.

Check your Inbox for new mail. You can NOT finish until you get this email! Click on the Complete Office 365 Education signup.

Next you will be creating your Office 365 account. Fill in the information and then click Start.

It may take you to another screen and have you reenter your username and Password. Fill-in the information and click Sign in.


Finally you are ready to install Office on your computer. On the opening screen you should see the Install now option. On the Office page, select a Language, and then choose Install to install the 32-bit version.

At the bottom of the screen, select Run. If you get the UAC user Account Control click Yes. Follow the prompts and accept the license agreement.

NOTE: Office will install in the background and will say, “You can use your programs now,” but we recommend that you wait until the installation is finished. You also must stay online with your computer fully on and awake during the entire process. As shown below the download and install can take longer than expected. At this point it may be best to come back at a later time to see if it has completed. Finally, when you see "You're good to go," select All done.
