Welcome

The mission of the Center for Learning Assistance is to enhance academic skills by providing high quality instructional support services in The Learning Center (TLC) and other initiatives in order to assist all learners at all levels in achieving academic success, gaining self-confidence, and becoming an independent learner. In short, the Center is dedicated to supporting all learners through the academic process to credential attainment, whether it be a Certificate of Technical Studies or Associate Degree. The Center continues to search for new services and programs to enhance the educational level of students while remaining centered on the Bossier Parish Community College’s mission.

All Learners are encouraged to access and to fully utilize our services. The Center’s motto – All Learners at All Levels – is expressed through our primary service areas. The Learning Center supports BPCC, other area colleges, and high school students in the pursuit of academic endeavors by providing high quality instructional support services via peer tutoring, computer assisted instruction, and hands-on learning models.  The Center will continue to focus on student success as it transitions more fully to a comprehensive academic services Center.
