The Physical Plant Department offers a vanpooling service for students in need. The aim of the vanpooling program is to meet the daily transportation needs of currently enrolled BPCC students and workforce clients who lack personal transportation and are without readily available access to mass transit.

The vanpool service currently operates six, air-conditioned, 14 passenger vans on routes throughout Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, and Webster parishes. Students must not live within one mile of a SporTran bus stop. The service is free of charge.

The vans arrive at BPCC in time for 8:00 a.m. classes each morning and depart 12:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. each afternoon. On Friday the last run is at 12:15 p.m. Vanpooling is not available for evening classes.
