Financial AssistanceBPCC provides equal educational opportunities for all students. Financial aid, which includes federal grants, scholarships, federal loans, and federal work-study, is administered by the Financial Aid Office. Financial aid is available to meet the student's educational expenses through a variety of sources. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Aid is based on need, academic progress, and merit. Financial aid applicants must be accepted for admission and enrolled in a degree or eligible certificate or technical diploma program at BPCC before an award can be determined. Students admitted provisionally are not eligible for federal financial aid. ALL STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY ELECTRONICALLY FOR FEDERAL AID. The Financial Aid Office has computers available for your use. Applying for financial aid is a lengthy process. The entire process could take up to ninety (90) days. In order to have your financial aid processed in time for registration/fee payment, you must submit ALL requested documents according to the following deadlines: Priority deadlines for federal financial aid (grants and loans):

Right to Appeal: Louisiana Rehabilitation ServicesTuition and fees are paid for eligible students with disabilities such as diabetes, lupus, orthopedic problems, sickle cell anemia, mental health problems, substance abuse, etc. However, additional services such as the provision of books and transportation are based on economic need.
