Presented by technologists with extensive backgrounds in web business and education theory, this seminar teaches how to protect yourself from identity theft and predators, market yourself to potential employers, create useful connections between students and faculty, and get more value out of your college experience. Swift KickThrough his third company, Swift Kick, Tom has spoken to thousands of students, staff and administration around the US and the world including South Korea, Indonesia and Bermuda. Swift Kick has extensive background in internet technologies and the dot com era.The instant messenger on Myspace, Date.com and several other social networking sites was created by a co-founder of Swift Kick, and recently that company was sold to AOL for $60 million dollars. Swift Kick was named the #1 college speaker for 2007 by APCA and has already booked at over 120 colleges in almost every state. They were the #1 co-oped speaker at APCA South, APCA Nationals, APCA MidWest and NACA Northern Plains.
