Homecoming Court

2008-2009 Homecoming Court

Each year, elections are held to select a Homecoming Court to be presented at the Homecoming basketball game. The court consists of a King and Queen, three Sophomore Maids (30 credit hours or more) and three Freshman Maids (29 credit hours or less). The sophomore candidate receiving the highest number of votes serves as the Queen. Voting procedures are under the direction of the Student Government Association and allow all students the opportunity to vote. Qualifications

  • Must be planning to attend BPCC in spring
  • 2.0 or higher GPA maintained through fall semester
  • Full-time student in good standing (12 hours or more)
  • Nominated by a student organization, an academic department or a faculty/staff member

Nomination Deadline

Nominations are due in the Office of Student Life (F-220) by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2009.

Online Elections

Online elections will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2009. Click on the VOTE icon on the BPCC Student Web page.Will open new browser window or tabEligible voters will receive voting instructions at their BPCC student email account. Online elections will end at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2009.

Election Results Announcement

Elections results will be announced at 11:50 a.m. on Monday, November 16, 2009 in Building F.

Homecoming Basketball Game

The BPCC Homecoming game will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010 in the BPCC Gym.
