With the base being so close to our campus we have enjoying with them to offer specific training that their personnel need. This has been such a success that we have been able to outfit a lab on the base in order to help facilitate training and make it easier for personnel to attend. See: Courses

- In the summer of 2010 we hosted our first cyber summer camps, Camp CAVS,
for middle school and high school students. In the summer 2011 we made modifications and improvements to the summer camp program. Two separate options were available, one through Camp CAVS,
the second was a week-long camp
offered directly through the Cyber Information Technology program, The students and faculty thoroughly enjoyed. We already have students wanting to return for more advanced training. For the summer of 2012 we are planning on greatly expanding this program. In the past we only offered one full week of training. For this summer we are looking at offering multiple summer camps to meet the demand from local middle and high school students along with offering one week of advanced topics for those that have already gone through the summer camp.
