A partnership with Bossier Parish Schools allowing select high school students to attend ten 1 hour sessions involving the following components:

  • Career exploration activities
  • Employer/business owner presentations
  • Student led Employer/business owner interviews
  • Mentoring activities
  • Student presentations

 

 

Middle School Career Fair

Middle School Career Expo

Educators, Community Agencies, and business leaders collaborate to offer an annual career fair for eighth grade students with:

  • Local employers demonstrating high demand occupations, average pay scales, and training required
  • Career Pathways illustrating various career entry points for both college and non-college bound youth.
  • Community and Technical colleges promoting training opportunities available.

Goal: An attempt to expose those most likely to drop out of high school "Opportunities and Choices" for their future that they may never had considered and planning the "route" to get there.
