Character BIOS:

We are looking to cast the following roles. Please see below for character bios and sides:

Man: (MALE) He is an older man. His scraggly beard covers his weathered face. His tattered clothes and rugged appearance are off-putting. He’s mysterious, intrusive, and comfortable with awkward silence. Flashbacks reveal he is a changed man, but the change came too late to make a difference in his lifetime.

Woman: (FEMALE) Burdened with pain brought on by life and disappointment – this woman is struggling with masking her feelings. Lost in her thoughts – she is contemplating what seems to be the only way to end her grief. The last thing she wants is to be bothered by anyone.

Co-workers: (MALE & FEMALE) Happy to be off work and looking forward to the weekend. One male, one female --- female upspeaks in a manner trying to be trendy and male is absorbed in social media posts on his phone. Both are happy as they are leaving for happy hour.

Bartender: (MALE) Confident in his authority over his domain i.e. the bar.

Wife: (FEMALE) Finally standing up against her husband and his alcohol addiction. She’s done being emotional and is ready to end the cycle of toxic behavior patterns and their marriage.
