Liberal Arts

The Division of Liberal Arts focuses on art, English, foreign language, humanities, interpretation, reading, and religion studies.


Classes are offered on campus and via online instruction. A variety of visual platforms and new technology is incorporated into the classroom environment so that students can access up-to-the-minute developments within the field. When possible, instructors schedule field trips to expand on classroom learning in a way that makes a connection to the local arts community.

The art courses offered at BPCC include an introductory course, historical surveys, and studio courses in painting, drawing, ceramics, and design.


Degree completed in 12 months with 4-week and 8-week sessions. Upon completion, students will be able to transfer degree to another university, enter the workforce or advance position at a current job.

General Studies


Savoir Faire, BPCC’s annual literary and visual arts publication, presents a unique opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to showcase their work. Published once a year, the publication features original art, poetry, short stories, essays, plays, and photographs.
