Juanita Epps
Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) and the BPCC Foundation are proud to announce the creation of a new endowed scholarship to support students pursuing careers in accounting and finance. The Juanita Epps Endowed Scholarship in Accounting & Finance was established by the BPCC Foundation Board of Directors in honor of Mrs. Juanita Epps and her decades of extraordinary service to the College.
Mrs. Epps began her career at BPCC in 1997 as Internal Auditor and most recently served as the Accounting Specialist and Bookkeeper for the BPCC Foundation. In her tenure, she played a key role in strengthening financial operations and stewardship, helping to grow the Foundation’s assets to more than $8.5 million. She also served as Compliance Auditor, consistently demonstrating a commitment to transparency, accountability, and student success.
To celebrate her impact, Mrs. Epps was honored at a special reception held on the BPCC campus. The endowed scholarship named in her honor will provide ongoing support to students studying in the fields of accounting and finance—ensuring her legacy continues through the success of future generations.
The scholarship will be awarded annually to qualifying BPCC students enrolled in accounting or finance degree programs, offering not only financial support, but also a lasting testament to Mrs. Epps’ professional excellence and deep commitment to higher education.
