Testing Centers

The BPCC Testing Centers provide a wide range of test services needed by the area’s workforce, students, and members of the military. An appointment is required for all tests. Test services include Louisiana’s high school equivalency exams (HiSET and GED), high-stakes professional certification and licensure exams, information technology certifications, credit-by-examination, distance education proctoring, DANTES-funded testing, workforce assessments, and national test services.
Tests are delivered at three locations:
- BPCC Testing Center - located on the BPCC Campus in Building D
- BPCC Prometric Test Center - located on the BPCC Campus in Building D
- BPCC BAFB National Test Center - located in the Education Building at Barksdale Air Force Base
- You must have access to BAFB to schedule exams on the Base.
The BPCC Testing Centers are a participant in the National College Testing Association Consortium of College Testing Centers.
- An appointment is required for all tests.
- Security cameras are utilized along with other strict security procedures including a no cell phone policy in the testing room.
- Review Bossier Parish Community College's campus map for driving directions and parking information.
The BPCC Testing Center is open Monday through Saturday (8am to 4pm). The type of exams given may vary by day. The BPCC Testing Center is located on the BPCC campus in Building D, Room 203.
BPCC BAFB National Test Center is open Thursdays (11:30am to 5:30pm). The BPCC BAFB National Test Center is located in the BAFB Education Building, Room 101. To use the BAFB facility, you must already have access to BAFB.
BPCC Prometric Test Center is open Monday and Wednesday (8:00 am to 8:00 pm) and Friday and Saturday (8am to 6pm). Occasionally there may be Tuesday or Thursday testing as needed due to demand and testing windows. The BPCC Prometric Test Center is located on the BPCC campus in Building D, Room 206.
ACCUPLACER assessments are provided as a service for BPCC community, education, and industry partners. ACCUPLACER is not required for admission to BPCC.

Most accommodations must be approved by the test company (College Board, ETS, Pearson VUE, etc.) If you have questions about accommodations, contact the BPCC’s Testing Center via email (testing@bpcc.edu) or by calling 318-678-6002.
Test companies have very strict security measures that BPCC’s Testing Center is required to enforce.
- BPCC Testing Center policy prohibits access to cell phones, PDAs, audio and photographic devices, all watches, purses or bags, food or drink at test administrations.
- Some testing companies may not allow hoodies or jackets in the test room. You may be asked to roll up your sleeves, turn pockets wrong side out, lift long hair, etc.
- Lockers are provided for storage of personal items during the exam. No personal items are allowed in the testing room.
One or two physical forms of identification are usually required for testing admission. It is required that one ID be a current government-issued ID with your photo and signature AND second ID with your signature is permissible. Most testing companies do not accept LA Wallet. Check with your exam company for specific details.
