BPCC, City of Bossier City to present annual Holiday Show Dec. 5-7

Bossier Parish Community College, in partnership with the City of Bossier City, will usher in the holiday season with its beloved community tradition, The BPCC Christmas Show: Santa’s Christmas Dream. The festive production returns to the Stephen W. Slaughter Theatre in Building C on BPCC’s Bossier Campus, located at 6220 E. Texas St.

Performances are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 5, at 6:30pm; Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1 pm; and Sunday, Dec. 7, at 2pm. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Tickets are $2 and may be reserved online at bpcc.edu/theatre. Guests are encouraged to bring canned food donations benefiting The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana.

For more than 30 years, BPCC’s annual Christmas show has served as a joyful “gift to Bossier City,” bringing holiday magic to families across the area. This year’s production promises a whimsical adventure as Santa and his North Pole crew gear up for the most wonderful time of the year, filling the stage with music, laughter and classic Christmas spirit.

Adding an extra dose of cheer, BPCC Theatre and Student Life will host a Visit with Santa immediately after Saturday’s performance. Children can meet Santa, play holiday-themed games and create seasonal crafts as part of the celebration.

The production showcases the talents of the Cavalier Players, Cavalier Players Chorus, BPCC Concert Choir, Cavalier Cheerleaders and the Ladies in Gold Danceline. Under the direction of Dr. Ray Scott Crawford, BPCC students, faculty and staff come together to deliver a spirited holiday experience for the entire community.

BPCC and the City of Bossier City invite families, friends and neighbors to join in the festivities and experience the wonder of Santa’s Christmas Dream.
