BPCC Invites Community to “Visit with Santa” on Dec. 6

Santa’s Making a Stop at BPCC — And You’re Invited!

Bossier Parish Community College is celebrating the holiday season in the merriest way possible! BPCC’s Office of Student Life and the Student Government Association will host its annual Visit with Santa on Saturday, December 6, from 2pm to 6 pm in Building F on the Bossier Campus. Families can look forward to an afternoon packed with Christmas crafts, cheerful music, sweet treats and warm hot cocoa. And of course, Santa himself will be stopping by for photos and plenty of holiday magic.

The event is free and open to the public, and BPCC is asking guests to help spread a little extra joy by bringing a new, unwrapped toy for Operation Christmas Wish, sponsored by the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office. Toys may be dropped off early in the Student Life Office (F-220) or brought straight to the event. Every donated gift helps make sure a local child gets to unwrap something special this Christmas.

“We want families to walk onto campus and immediately feel the joy of the season,” said Tiffany Sandifer, Director of Student Life. “This event is all about bringing people together, spreading kindness, and reminding our community that even the smallest gift can make a big difference for a child this Christmas. We hope everyone will join us, celebrate with us and, if they’re able, donate a toy to help brighten someone’s holiday.”

In addition, the Student Government Association will sponsor its annual Christmas Raffle featuring a wagon filled with toys. Tickets may be purchased for $1 each from any SGA member, in the Student Life Office (F-220), or at the event. The raffle drawing will be held during the Visit with Santa festivities, though the winner does not need to be present.
