BPCC’s Bossier Campus to Reopen Monday, Feb. 2

Bossier Parish Community College’s Bossier Campus will reopen on Monday, Feb. 2, following temporary closure due to Winter Storm Fern. With the reopening of the Bossier Campus, all BPCC campuses — Bossier, Natchitoches, and Many — will resume regular business hours and operations on Monday.

BPCC’s Facilities Team worked throughout the weekend to address persistent ice in key areas across campus, including walkways and portions of roofing, to prepare the campus for reopening.

“I am incredibly proud of the work our Facilities Team completed under challenging conditions,” said Chancellor Dr. Rick Bateman, Jr. “Their commitment to safety and service played a critical role in allowing us to reopen the Bossier Campus and welcome our students, faculty, and staff back.”

While significant progress has been made, some conditions may remain hazardous. The College urges all students, employees, and visitors to use extreme caution and good judgment when traveling to campus and while moving between buildings.
