Bossier Parish Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society chapter has been designated a 2025 REACH Rewards Chapter, recognizing exceptional success in engaging eligible students and increasing membership acceptance.
BPCC’s chapter earned the REACH Rewards designation after achieving 10 percent or more membership growth through intentional outreach and consistent follow-up with eligible students. The effort expanded access to the academic and leadership benefits of Phi Theta Kappa for BPCC students.
As a result of this achievement, the chapter earned 16 complimentary graduation stoles, which will be awarded to members in recognition of their academic accomplishments.
“This recognition reflects the hard work of our student leaders and the meaningful connections they’ve built with their peers,” said Michelle Triplet, PTK advisor at BPCC. “We are committed to ensuring that every eligible student understands the value of Phi Theta Kappa and feels encouraged to take advantage of the scholarships, leadership development and transfer opportunities available through membership.”
Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society of two-year colleges and academic programs, particularly state colleges and community colleges. The mission of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize academic achievement of college students and to provide opportunities for them to grow as scholars and leaders.
