BPCC’s Adam Dansby Earns Nationally Recognized Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Designation

Adam Dansby, Director of Business Operations at Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC), has officially attained the Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) professional designation. Issued by the AGA (Association of Government Accountants), the CGFM is a prestigious credential, recognizing the specific knowledge and experience required to excel in the complex environment of government financial management.

To earn the CGFM, candidates must meet strict education and experience requirements and pass three comprehensive examinations covering the governmental environment, financial management and control, and governmental accounting, auditing, and reporting. The certification also requires a commitment to a stringent code of ethics and ongoing professional development.

Dansby’s achievement reflects his dedication to maintaining the highest standards of fiscal integrity and operational efficiency within the Louisiana Technical & Community College System. As Director of Business Operations, he plays a critical role in ensuring that BPCC remains a responsible steward of public funds while optimizing the support services that allow the institution to flourish.
