Bossier Parish Community College offers the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program every semester. The EMT program is a Career and Technical Certificate (CTC) consisting of EMTP 100 and EMTP 100L. Students must enroll in both courses during the same semester to successfully complete the program.
Students are assigned to a cohort, which is a group of students who begin and complete the EMT program together. Your cohort is determined by the section of EMTP 100 in which you enroll. Sections of EMTP 100L (EMT Lab) are not restricted to a specific cohort and may be selected based on availability and scheduling needs.
