Homecoming Court
An online election is held each fall semester to select a Homecoming Court to be presented at the Homecoming basketball game. The court consists of a King and Queen, three Sophomore Maids (30 credit hours or more) and three Freshman Maids (29 credit hours or less). The sophomore candidate receiving the highest number of votes serves as the Queen.
All Homecoming Court nominees must meet the following qualifications:
- 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher
- Full-time student in good standing enrolled in 12 hours or more
- Nominated by a student organization, academic department or faculty/staff member
The online election will open at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Eligible voters will receive a link to the voting system in their BPCC student email account. The online election will close at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Friday, November 7, 2025. Official results will be announced via myBPCC (Canvas).
The following nomination forms must be submitted to the Office of Student Life (F-220) by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025:
Elected Homecoming Court members will be expected to participate in all Homecoming activities which include the court presentation practice, the HOCO Glo event, the court luncheon, the basketball game and half-time presentation, and official court photos (taken at the game).

Court members are required to attend this practice in order to review their bios and receive presentation instructions. This meeting should not take over 30 minutes if everyone is on time!
Admission passes to the Homecoming basketball game on Saturday, November 15, 2025, will be distributed to court members at this practice. Each court member will receive two game admission passes. All other guests attending the game will be required to pay admission upon entry.

Court members should make every effort to attend the HOCO Glo event but are not required to be there the entire time. Admission is FREE for BPCC students, faculty, and staff and $5.00 for guests. Limit one guest per person.
Saturday, November 15, 2025 | 11:30 am | Silver Star Smokehouse (111 Dixie Overland Road, Bossier City)
This luncheon is by invitation ONLY! Each court member may invite 5 guests and must provide guests’ names to the Office of Student Life. No one will be allowed at this event unless they are on the guest list.
Saturday, November 15, 2025 | 2:00 pm | BPCC Gym
Court members should report to the gym by 1:45 pm. The BPCC Cavaliers will take on the SUSLA Jaguars at 2:00 pm. The 2025 BPCC Homecoming Court will be presented with their escorts at half-time.
Admission: $10.00 | BPCC students, faculty and staff - FREE with BPCC ID | Children 4 and under - FREE
Official court photos will be taken upon the completion of the half-time presentation. A professional photographer will be available and will offer photograph packages at reasonable prices for purchase. A proof book will be provided to the Office of Student Life. Court members will be notified when orders can be placed. Escorts are included in official court photos.
