The Office of Academic Affairs provides administrative support for six academic divisions, including Behavioral and Social Sciences; Business; Communication and Performing Arts; Liberal Arts; Science, Nursing, and Allied Health; and Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics; and three academic support divisions, including Educational Technology, Innovative Learning, and Learning Resources.
With a commitment to BPCC’s mission of helping students achieve educational goals and strengthening the regional economy, the Office of Academic Affairs coordinates efforts such as placement testing, commencement ceremonies, accreditation, and articulation agreements while individual academic divisions have responsibilities for oversight of associate degree, certificate, and diploma programs and course scheduling. Academic support divisions within the Office of Academic Affairs offer services for assisting online, dual enrollment, and veteran students as well as provide learning resources for supporting classroom instruction. With an ever-changing local economy and population, the Office of Academic Affairs is a dynamic team that constantly strives to meet the needs of business and industry by developing new programs and resources to help our students and our community succeed.
