Please review the Department of Labor’s poster regarding the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) via this link: Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA)PDF File

This poster provides information on paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave under the FFCRA.  The FFCRA is effective April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.  This will coincide with the State of Louisiana’s Response to Coronavirus which is effective currently March 18, 2020 through April 13, 2020. This is expected to extend to April 30th.  This poster will also be posted on the HR page of the BPCC website and MyBPCC.

If you are unable to telecommute because you are experiencing any of these qualifying leave reasons, please let contact your supervisor or HR so we can ensure that the appropriate leave is taken.

This is the information we have as of today.  More guidance and information will be provided as we receive it from the Federal and State agencies.
