High School Equivalency Test (HiSET)

HiSET is Louisiana’s new high school equivalency test. It replaced the GED Test effective January 1, 2014. HiSET was developed by Educational Testing Service (ETS). Ten states chose to use the HiSET test rather than the GED Test.

BPCC’s Testing Center, located on BPCC’s main campus in Building D, Room 203, delivers computer-based and paper-based HiSET exams. Computer-based HiSET appointments are normally available each Tuesday and one Saturday a month. Paper-based HiSET appointments are normally available one Saturday a month.
