(March 12, 2020) Effective today, all faculty, staff and students must self-report planned personal international travel. This requirement will remain in effect until such time that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lifts its restrictions and guidance on international travel due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). This step is being taken out of concern for the health and safety of our BPCC community.
Students will report planned international travel to Karen Recchia, Vice Chancellor for Student Services at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Faculty and staff will report planned international travel to Tom Williams, Executive Vice Chancellor at email@example.com.
Anyone traveling from countries listed on the CDC’s level 1,2 and 3 warning lists should self-isolate and are prohibited from returning to campus or attending College events for 14 days from the time of departure from the countries on the watch list. This includes any students, faculty or staff traveling for personal reasons. Please remain in close contact with your instructors and supervisors if you do undertake such travel.
The countries listed in each category changes daily, so please check the list frequently: https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices.
Domestic travel: Employees should limit domestic college-sponsored travel to only essential business purposes, and they should clear such travel with their Vice Chancellors.
