The mission of the Division of Business and Information Technology is to provide dynamic and innovative learning experiences and educational pathways that align with industry partners' needs. Through these in-demand pathways, BPCC graduates will build a requisite foundation that cultivates critical-thinking, problem-solving, and team collaboration in the workplace environment.

A message from the Dean

Welcome to the Division of Business and Information Technology (often abbreviated to BIT)! The BIT division offers industry-vetted programs that allow you to follow your passion and begin a career in a high demand field. During your time at BPCC, you will have a primary advisor assigned to you, receive hands-on instruction from experienced faculty, and routinely engage with employer partners. 

Our programs primarily focus on Business, Information Technology, Culinary Arts, and Cosmetology. More specifically, we offer Associates degrees in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Culinary Arts, Cyber Security, Health Care Management (Health Studies) and (Professional Practice), Louisiana Transfer (Business), Software Development, Systems Administration (Cloud Computing) and (DevOps) as well as a number of short-term certificate and technical programs.
