Student Life

Bossier Parish Community College’s Student Services Division supports student success by enhancing the college experience through coordinated services, activities, and resources. Key goals include:

  • Expanding access to educational opportunities
  • Promoting financial aid and student support programs
  • Encouraging student involvement on campus and in the community
  • Supporting a safe, inclusive, and engaging campus environment

Get Involved

The Office of Student Life provides opportunities for personal growth through events, leadership programs, student organizations, and entertainment that support the development of the whole student—physically, socially, mentally, and spiritually.

BPCC encourages all students to participate in campus life. A variety of student organizations are available and open to all students, regardless of background. Each group follows College policies, is advised by faculty or staff, and helps create a vibrant, inclusive campus community.

To join or start a student organization, visit the Office of Student Life on the 2nd Floor of Building F (Bossier Campus) or explore the Student Life website.

Student Representation in College Governance

The Student Government Association (SGA) represents the student body and promotes student welfare. SGA encourages student input in college decisions and serves as a voice for all students. Visit the SGA office in F-220, inside the Student Life Office.

Students also serve on key committees—such as Academic Misconduct Appeals, College Planning Council, and Student Technology Fee Committee—to help shape BPCC policies.

Surveys, event evaluations, and focus groups provide additional ways for students to share feedback and influence campus life.

Athletics

Bossier Parish Community College is a proud member of the NJCAA, competing in men’s baseball, men’s basketball, and women’s softball. Athletics at BPCC support the College’s mission of instruction and service. Student-athletes follow the College’s Code of Student Conduct.
