Adam Dansby

President

I am the Assistant Bursar in the Business Office which is a part of the Finance Division. I have a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida and will finish my MBA in Organizational Management in the Spring. I have been at BPCC since November 2022 and am so looking forward to serving our amazing staff in this role.

Quentin Calhoun

Vice President

I am the Assistant Dean of Business Information and Technology. I received a Master of Education from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.  I have been working for BPCC for 18 months and love my role in assisting and supporting students, faculty, and staff in any way possible.

Amy Russell

Secretary

I am a Program Support Coordinator for the Business and Information Technology division.  I am a BPCC alumni earning an Associate degree in Criminal Justice.  I have also earned my Associate degree in General Studies from Northwestern State University. It's hard to believe that it has been 9 years since I started my dream job.  I look forward to seeing what this amazing group can accomplish for such a great staff.

Natalie Smith

Treasurer

 I am currently the Accounting Assistant within the Finance Department. I have worked at BPCC for roughly a year and a half now and I have loved every minute of it. I obtained my Bachelors in Accounting and Masters of Business Administration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport.  I am so excited to be a part of an amazing Staff Senate team.

Megan Bange

Senator

I have been at BPCC in various roles since Fall of 2013.  Prior to joining a grant team here, I taught English Composition and Literature at the University of Louisiana at Monroe for 10 years.  After serving 3 years as the Assistant Dean of the TEM Divisions, I moved to the role of Dean.  I loved my time as Dean of the TEM Division before moving to my position now as Associate Vice Chancellor of Planning, Budget, and Resources for Academic Affairs.  I graduated with both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in English from Louisiana Tech, and I will be starting my first quarter this fall in the Doctoral program there for Educational Leadership.

Shawndreka Jelks

Senator

I am a Program Coordinator of Nursing and Allied Health Division. I have a B.S. in Psychology from LSU Shreveport. I will have my MBA with a concentration in Human Resources this December. I have been employed with BPCC two years in October.

Callie Jo Ellis

Member At Large

I serve as a Program Support Coordinator for the Division of STEM at BPCC, and I have worked at BPCC since January of 2023. Prior to joining the STEM team at, I served as an educator for six years at middle school and high school campuses. I currently hold a Master of Arts in School Counseling from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Howard Payne University. I am excited to be part of a dynamic team, and I look forward to proudly serving the staff of BPCC.

If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please feel free to contact one of the Staff Senate Officers. The president represents Staff Senate as a member of the BPCC Foundation Board of Directors, Planning Council, and various functions planned by the administration. BPCC Foundation supports the BPCC staff with designated funds for Staff Development Opportunities. Staff Senate is responsible for planning these activities. All staff employees are included and encouraged to attend. Several luncheons with motivational speakers will be provided throughout the year. We welcome suggestions for speakers; BPCC employees or someone from the community. Join an organization that is fun, full of opportunities, informative, and supported by the BPCC administration. Dues payable by cash or check to BPCC Staff Senate.
