High School Dual Enrollment
Bossier Parish Community College offers dual enrollment to high school freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The enrollment of a high school student in a college course for which dual credit (both college and high school credit) is attempted and recorded on both the student’s secondary and postsecondary academic records.
Courses are offered during the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer semesters on the BPCC campus, online, and at participating high schools. Regardless of the location in which a student enrolls, all teachers are fully credentialed and teach the entire college level curriculum.
If you are interested in taking classes during the Summer semester outside of Dual Enrollment, which is called the EXCEL program, please contact the office to get more information on the EXCEL program.
The eligibility criteria and required documentation for College-level academic courses and career and technical education courses are outlined below. Courses may have additional prerequisites.
College Level Courses

NEW Student Criteria
- High school GPA 2.5 AND
- Subject-specific minimum scores OR Counselor Recommendation (included in Registration Form)
Documents to submit:
- Registration - Signature Form
- Current high school transcript
- Immunization Record or Waiver (if not signed while completing the Admission Application)
- ACT (or other qualifying scores) OR Counselor Recommendation
- If TOPS Tech Early Start funding will be utilized the following additional documents are required:
- TTES Application

RETURNING Student Criteria
- College GPA 2.5
Documents to submit:
- Registration - Signature Form
- Current high school transcript

DIRECTIONS FOR PAYING ON LOLA
- Log into LOLA
- Select Student under Self Service
- Select Payment/Payment Plan Processing under My Account
- Select Make a Payment from the navigation menu on the left side of the screen
- Check the box next to the correct semester
- Adjust the amount, if necessary
- NOTE: Refer to your invoice and pay only the amount required on the invoice. Change the amount to be paid in the selection box. Do not be concerned that the amount owed is greater than the invoice total and do not pay any more than is required on the invoice. The balance will be adjusted after the start of the semester
- Select Checkout, and follow the on-screen directions to complete payment
